Entry #2:
Game Demo:
Here’s the demo to that game I said I would provide a demo for.
I have absolutely no idea what this game could be called (I’m open to suggestions!), so I’m just calling it ‘Demo’ for now.
The other thing is I’m gearing up to start work on the full version of this game, which will include a variety of things including:
- Shops
- More Enemies
- Levels
- Themed areas
- Bosses
Unused Art:
I was making a game for my little brother, but then I just stopped working on it because of lost motivation. However, some of the art I made was pretty good, so I’m gonna post it for anyone who wants to use it (please credit me for this, though).
Now, this uses a custom palette made of the Paper 8 palette on Lospec and these following additional colors: #4F518C and #6D6FB0.
Now for some more unused art:
I made this sprite for a game (I might continue development later) and I’m quite satisfied with it.
Here’s the link to the asset and some other ones (this includes the palette):
Anyone is still free to use this art (as long as you credit me), just be aware I might use this art either for a later project or for continuing the project I was working on.
Kerbal Space Program Game:
As some of you may know, I started creating a KSP game in Makecode (I made a post in my pixel art topic). However, after finishing the base of the art I got distracted with other projects (and I still don’t have KSP) so it almost got forgotten. But I remembered, and will be working on a basic demo for entry #3(or entry #4).
Isometric Game:
For a while I’ve been planning to make an isometric game in Godot, with a ton of features. But then I thought of some changes that would actually make it possible(ish?) in Makecode. So far, I have basic world generation (tiny world), even though it’s really slow.
For the world generation demo(s), I have multiple levels of world generation, based on the amount of blocks(cubes) it generates, currently 150 (1x size), 300 (2x size), and 600 (4x size). On my school computer, the 150 and 300 sizes both generate in under or around 2 minutes. However, the 600 size took 10-15 minutes to generate. If you have a beefy computer ignore the lag warnings (I think you will be able to)
