Does this still work if the z values are all specified?
@Luke I’m not 100% sure what you mean by that; sprites always have a z-index. Even if you never set the z-index of a sprite, it gets set to the default value of 0.
Well if there is a bunch of sprites with specific z values would this extension change them?
I’m fairly sure that Richard mentioned on a stream once people shouldn’t call him Rick.
@Luke this extension doesn’t change the z-index of any sprites (except the set z and change z blocks of course).
Running a screen transition will affect all sprites with a z-index lower than the render z-index but only the way they are drawn, not the sprite itself. As soon as the screen transition is cleared, it will be as if the screen transition never happened. No sprites are automatically destroyed/created either.
Ok thanks!
Since people are confused about this extension, I will do some demos on stream today that will hopefully clarify some things. I’ll post the YouTube link here afterwards!
Ho ho, BAD idea.
My bad, I don’t watch streams
@Brainstorm_Studios has been permanently banned by @richard.

We talked about how the extension works from 2:00-12:20
And we coded an example of how to use this with a level select screen starting at 25:25
