You… just got here, idk whether I trust you or not. I’m not saying I don’t, I’m saying I’m not sure

Hey Richard, I just wanted to say thank you for not taking that comment I made to heart. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for it to come across as antagonizing.

Not trying to be a jerk or a conversation snoop or anything but, he’s actually been here longer than you…

Does anyone know if it’s possible to make an SM64-style screen transition? Like this?

@TheConeGuy hmmm… I could add a block for that! I assume you just want to use a custom silhouette?

for the mario silhouette, make a sprite with a CLEAR mario and a black backround, then set it to always be on camera, now make it shrink and boom. you got it (i think)

@TheConeGuy added a block for creating custom image transitions

here’s an example:

I’ve been experimenting with this for a while, and for some reason you can’t use this custom image transition block while the transition is reversed. It simply does nothing.

Wow! Will be useful for the MakeCode forums 3

@TheConeGuy it works in the example project I posted. can you share a link to your code?

The current build of my game isn’t public, and I don’t exactly want people accessing it, so I just have a screenshot of the code here.

When I set the reversed boolean to false, it works just fine; however, when I set it to true, it does nothing.
