This is the post i will dedicate to my newest, incredibly unfinished game project!
The second Feesh Frenzy game i will be releasing (and the fourth overall), this project seeks to improve the replayablity of the formula, adding some new rogue-like-lite-ish elements to the mix with a new perks system. ( Wich im still figuring out how to code! :V)
(If you havent yet played Feesh Frenzy: Redux, it is the featured topic on my profile, im looking forward to improving some of the aspects previously seen.)

Started work on a proper title screen.
I may add some images to fill out the empty space in the right side.
Dont mistake the Shop in the title screen for the ingame Shop, however.
Speaking of, the ingame shop is in a working state! I still have to actually code the perks and abilities, but you can actually get them now i guess.

Ok i know its been like a week but still i was busy with really not wanting to implement the events system
Anyways, work has been started on implementing the events system! I havent actually programmed any more than 2 of them, but this should be the easier part.
Other things i added:
-Different hooks (currently just Anchor and a secret second one)
-Custom Color Pallettes (most of the default ones + a custom, very retro one)
The game should be playable by early April, but still needs far more content. Hope i can share my progress again soon.

i just felt like it, hes gonna be stuck in the Shadow Realm of my unused assets for eternity

Devevolpment has resumed, as i have finished my Mini Jam submission. Might be a little slow until i get back in the flow, but you can expect some form of update or teaser soon!
(well depends on how much of a time window “soon” is in your perception)

Here is an image of a new hook! It is a pumpkin, and the “seasonal hook” of Halloween. (Seasonal hooks are a mechanic i have been thinking of but is unconfirmed. They wont be restricted to their specific season btw)

Introducing: Hook Status Conditions!
They change certain characteristics of your hook and have synnergy with other perks and events. Sometimes they come with a downside too.

Its been a while, and i havent had too much time to code these last few days, but, alas, i bring thee a devevolpment update (did i spell that right)

Im happy with the current state of the game, and its close to its first demo release. Whenever i do that, it will be a separate topic from there-on.

Ok, its been a while. I have just now noticed how much this project’s code sucks. So, i have reached a compromise:
I will release an earlier demo to @teaeat100 's makecode direct, while i completly recode the game.
Its going to be rough. Its not going to be done before my wizardry jam game. But i will see this game through. I will release this thing, even if its the last post i make on these forums. (Hopefully not, i dont plan on leaving just yet.) Let’s see how much have i learned from march to now. I hope to have something to show before this year ends. I actually dont know how to end my post. Uhhhh. Yeah. I cast reply button.
