This is my first ever time making a racing game and all the details you need to know about mechanics is already in game! I had so much fun making this and really hope I get in the top 3 for the Sports Jam.
I’ll do a deep dive into my inspirations and how I coded certain things if you guys would like to know .
But other than that I am 99% sure I am never touching this game ever again, no new tracks, cars, or nothing. (As fun as it was, this game was a pain to make at times. So don’t ask for updates!)

This is quite cool. I really like how this is less of as a racing game and more of as a puzzle about when to pitstop, how tight to turn, etc. I also was wondering if the car art was done with a makecode converter or by other means?

Jokes aside, this game is absolute FIRE. Amazing work, from coding all that to making that pixel art, you did amazing and deserve to be 1st place. (sorry @RizeUpDev because I also put your topic on watching)

This is definitely going in my top 3 favorite games on the Makecode forums.
i did it all by hand, i split the tab with a reference, got the general shape and just added the details. Plus I have experience drawing cars irl so the skill kinda translated over.
Yeah there is a tiny little bug where if you crash into a wall you’re technically still accelerating into it, stopping you from turning. All you have to do is either reverse or wait until your mph is 0 and then reverse to get out.
