Hello Richard. I would like to know if there is a way to shrink down the pixels in the sprite making section without changing the character’s size
@Jams I think you might want to try the sprite scaling blocks!
There are some other useful blocks if you add the sprite-scaling extension from the extensions dialog:
This is not what I was searching for. I would like to make te pixels smaller, withou changing the hitbox. Just the pixels so I can draw with more detail
You can’t really do that, but if you need more detail you could just make the sprite bigger to allow for more pixels! It would increase the hitbox, though
Thanks
Hello, I’m fairly new to this, not even a year. I need some help on trying to create a health-bar. I have the health-bar image down, but I don’t know how to give it a numerical value. I want it to be if an enemy does -1 hp, the health will go down one which will turn some of the health-bar red.
Hello Richards,
Ive been trying to create a enemy that moves in a loop left to right on top of the screen and drops projectiles and food but I cant figure out how to do that
hello Richard! I need help with making a enemy move from side to side, i tried to do it on my own but its not working out. Could you help me out?
Hi @richard,
I know that this question has been asked already but I’ve further questions to ask in regards to
“Oops! There was an error. Please ensure you are connected to the Internet and try again.”,
Following the steps listed in this forum before I can see in the console everytime I try to share a link to the project this error message -
Would you have any idea on how to address this?
Thanks in advance.
@number2stemologist can you download the project and upload the png/uf2/hex here?
@richard Yeah sure thing.
@number2stemologist looks like your project hit the size limit we have on share projects! We’re talking about raising this limit, but for now if you want to share it you’ll probably need to reduce some of those big animations you have.
Also, the share dialog should have told you that was the issue, but it looks like you uncovered a bug! I’ve filed it in our bug tracker.
@richard That’d make more sense on why the program was working before I added the big animations!
Thanks for the help Richard, and good luck in patching that bug.
My Game is bugged. I have the raycasting extension activated but have not programmed with the blocks, yet the game is still saying I have.
@unknown_Ink1 the raycasting extension takes effect as soon as it is added to a project, even if you don’t use any blocks
it did that to me too once idk why
Welcome!! : D
Hello richard! I’ve had a question in mind about any information regarding the next Makecode Arcade Blocks Code update. I also wanted to ask how I can import extra extensions.
