Forum members are not able to modify posts. Edited posts make the moderators’ jobs much more complicated.
One way that the MakeCode team has handled this issue is that, when you share a project through the MakeCode Arcade editor, you usually have the option to update the existing link with your new version of the game, rather than creating a brand new (and different) link. It’s not a perfect solution—the editor doesn’t always give you that ability—but, when it works, everyone who clicks on the link in the forums gets the new version.
It’s often nice to see how your project has changed and grown, though. So, what I always encourage MakeCode developers (just like you!) to do is to create a new topic for each project that you create and that you want to share with the community. Then, make new posts in the relevant topic each time you have a new version that you want to share.
