Hosting multiplayer games on the forums

Hello fellow MakeCode users, this is my first time engaging in the forum. I have used MakeCode for a few months, and it took until now to create an account. That time feels right.

So here’s the question:
Are people allowed to host multiplayer sessions (not share multiplayer games) on the forum for others to join?

That’s a really good question! Since it’s not providing any personal info and we intentionally made online multiplayer, I don’t see a problem with it from a safety aspect.

Logistically, however, since you never know how long it will take for a post to get approved, it might be difficult to actually execute.

I never thought this Discourse forum would need me to wait until my posts get approved. I use a different Discourse forum and it doesn’t do that…

Anyway, is there a way to get much trust that there’s no more need for waits to get approved?

I think that only mods can skip the wait.
Problem is, only microsoft employees are capable of obtaining that rank.

No. This is a Microsoft thing and they can’t risk that. :face_with_diagonal_mouth: Especially because it’s all kids on here. Giving someone that kind of power could go very badly.

No, I have been here for 2 years and I still need to wait. The system wasn’t always like that though…

A BURDEN FOR MODS AND MEMBERS
HOWEVER THE PROPHECY STATES THAT THIS COULD ALL BE SAVED BY…

Thank you @KIKIvsIT @RedSprite @WoofWoof @_jupiter for helping! No wonder this place is just as helpful as the other forums…

Jupiter_Dev your scroll is so funny! It’s as if capitalization of letters somehow doesn’t exist yet!

I need deeper lore behind that scroll

Anyways, if this forum has thorough moderation for all members, then how did that torrent of off-topic posts made it past moderation in the topic:

DinoCraft: The most in-depth Makecode Minecraft

(post 55 is when off-topic starts)

Thank you all for helping, still!

Well… That was a time before the moderators started to enforce the Terms of Service with a tighter grip.
