How I make my pixel art

I would make an intro speech for this, but nah.

First, I start with the head. Don’t be afraid to just make the head a circle, that’s what I usually do. Make the skin outline a darker color than the color you want. Then, fill the circle with the lighter color. Add hair (optional). Outline the head with shift+F. Make the torso by making a square with a darker color. Fill the square with the color you want, then select it with box select and outline it in black. in a separate sprite border, make the hands using the same strategy as the head, but smaller. DO NOT ADD HAIR OR EYES. once the hand is done, copy it and paste it into the original sprite. Repeat for however many hands your character has. For the shoes, make a brown rectangle, fill with orange and outline in black. add white highlights wherever you deem necessary, and you’re done!

I always start with a one bit linework, but this is more useful for larger resolutions and for organic stuff

Using this you can easily add/remove pixels without touching the keyboard which is handy

How does this always happen? Every topic I make, no matter what it’s about, it eventually turns into a gen chat topic. But don’t take this the wrong way, I like that people are having fun talking to each other. you do you. Brainstorm out! stay creative, brainiacs!
