I was finding text to speech for a project but I havent found anything like that
So I was searching for importing your own audio instead of text to speech
But havent found anything like that
Please help

Oh nooo i’m so sorry, its just wierd english grammar! I mean that I am excited to finish it in the future, not quite yet :<
I am interested in your system though! How would you receive sounds?

I would use letters as code to convey what sound the user wants. (ex. /b/ would be written as b, and /ē/ would be written as -e etc.)
So a word like “banana” would be coded as (only an example, i’m coming up w/ this on the spot):

b?enan?e
(/bəˈnɑːnə/)

b = /b/
?e = /ə/
...

Ah you mean a sort of dictionary to convert the English text into phonemes! Smart, it does seem easier than having the user input the odd-looking phoneme representations that they may not understand.

Erm… that’s exactly what I meant. The english word dictionary is roughly 400k words. Inputting phoneme markers would be a little janky, sure, but at least it would be easier to work with for the people that know what they’re doing instead of manually adding the sound for every sound of a word.
