How to do thirds and extend notes in the makecode song maker

Sp I’ve seen users with songs that have extended notes and even tried to play triplets. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks

you drag the end of the note to the length you want it to be

You can click and drag on notes to extend them!

Thirds is hard but if you set it up so that one measure of your song is 12 sections long then you can play some notes with 3 sections each and then switch to 4 sections each for 3rds. There isn’t normal support for 3rds though, you gotta do it yourself and ignore the measure lines while making the song, it’s annoying.

Clicking and dragging works, but you can also press keys 1-9 to set the note length. To play triplets, you could multiply the tempo by 1.5, but you would have to:
(I) either extend the rest of the note lengths (if there are other notes) or
(II) get another song block to play at the same time and multiply that tempo by 1.5.
Option 2 would take less time, but is less likely to be perfectly in sync.
Option 1 is more tedious, but usually is more of an optimal choice.
