the meowbit it says usb > spi flash instead of the normal uf2 menu, and the menu button wont work properly.
the device is also turning off and on a lot but i think thats beacuse of the cable im using

The battery acid may have already done the damage due to unintentionally getting charged by the USB cable (Your batteries may have not been rechargeable ones) and corroded some of the internal components of the MeowBit. I suggest you buy a new MeowBit since it is unfixable, next time use a battery pack (Rechargable ones) that is specifically made for the MeowBit like KittenBot’s lithium-ion battery pack (Unfortunately has been sold out for months, so you may not be able to buy one).
