I need some ideas about this character I made up called rift the axolotl and I need some ideas about what type of game this character could be in and how good should it look and if you want to code on it or if I should just code on it’s your choice Mr picky ms icky UGH but besides that if you want to vote on how the games gonna look vote here
it’s either your first love or a something worth than a annoying ex if your in georgia or in other words it’s either you love it or you hate it definitively
please, and i mean PLEASE, no pillow shading.
ok, sometimes, it looks good,
(its still KINDA bad, but i couldnt think of a better example)
but no pillow shading would be better than this
and also, simplify it because if you make a game out of this thing, animating it would be so hard by drawing all the details. and another reason of simplifying it is would be because not many people will understand what is going on here
for one it’s not impossible and if your wondering about the people who want to make the sprites for this game I can convert the sprites they made to fit in with the art style. plus on this joke post I made, I was showing off I made with the graphical quality around the sprite you were critiquing Makecode if your wondering if I have made something similar to it’s graphical quality https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex020/uploads/makecode/original/2X/e/ea2ced0bbd26f64d3b8137797def92e7c75bbf96.png
plus I forgot the mention is that I don’t do pillow shading all the time. I only use it for things that are shiny or reflect back at you like if it was clean object that why the character looks like that, not to mention this art doesn’t look that bad or looks like it needs fixing. actually does it kinda seem like a downgrade.
I don’t see the part where the art becomes objectively better on the sheet and the rocks they showed on there looks like clay not rocks and why would grass grow on rocks without the soil?
