I have been making a dungeon based game using Richards tile map mapping. But I’m currently trying to brainstorm some ideas for game elements. Anybody have some ideas?
I already have boxes you can push and levers that work.
slimes for the first enemies
Hello fellow T profile! may I suggest you add a feature where there are multiple different dungeons, in which you can redo for extra loot by going back to using a menu, but you lose your stuff when you die, making it a risk reward scenario for getting and losing loot? (loot can be coins or something else if you add it). it would actually be pretty simple if you get the dungeon making down.
Power Outages
The lights will continuously flicker until the power goes out, in which you will only have a lantern to see. You can find some levers in which they can repower on the lights.
Hmmm… Maybe some bats, or hidden artifacts?
I like this, although it is a randomly generated dungeon. so it would be tricky to implement but I think I have an Idea on how to do it.
I wasn’t particularly planning on having actual “loot” but I will definitely be adding some sort of coin or collectable as you progress through the randomly generated rooms.
I am actually implementing this now… kinda… but instead of the lights going out the character always has a lantern using the lighting extension and has a fuel bar that goes down and the player must keep collecting fuel otherwise the light will run out.
