The paint tools are now immediately available as a secondary toolbar. Clicking twice was just an overkill.
Drawing icons are hiding save and save to GitHub buttons when using the Arcade Editor. What do do?
What are these messages that are shown randomly on streamer? where is it picked up from?
some were in-context and others out-of-context - is it related to captions?
They show up when you enable captioning. It uses the WebSpeech apis.
I’ll be fixing that shortly.
I’ve moved the editor up a bit until i have a better design. Are you using the full editor? I’ll need a way to move those icons out of the way.
Found I could just decrease magnification of the Arcade window. But, also requires restoring original magnification

When I’m using the streamer, it’s really laggy and doesn’t work very well.
I’m using the newest Chrome on MacOS(El Capitan).
I tried closing all other apps and tabs with the same result.
Are you enabling green screen?

Don’t know if it makes a difference, but I was using the micro:bit editor.
We might be close to what your GPU can handle. Could you
- open the Developer tools (right click -> inspect)
- open the Rendering tab
- turn on FPS meter
- what kind of performance are you getting? is your GPU memory saturated?
It was working better today.
I didn’t have a chance to use it properly, but at first I got 2.0 fps. It got higher, but when I moved, it got lower then sped up. The image is still laggy though.
Here’s a screenshot from one point.
It looks like GPU rendering is disabled in chrome – which would explain abismal perf. Go to chrome://settings/?search=hardware and make sure hardware acceleration is enabled. If you just upgraded your OS, your drivers might have been messed up.
