I heard that makecode was for “babies” or was only for starting off coding. is that true or is makecode more than that?
Oh man. If they could see what you can do with Makecode.
I think MakeCode is definitely more than that. Since MakeCode supports blocks, JavaScript, and Python, it is a cool platform that all levels of coders can have fun and learn in!
For most of us on the forum, it’s definitely transcended past its original purpose
well yes.
ye I fell like its WAY underratted and BETTER thand scracth with easier coding and stuff
I always held the belief that MakeCode is far better than Scratch, despite the limited resolution and colors, because it teaches kids real programming principles, unlike Scratch which is super clunky and weird…
Also, MakeCode offers JavaScript as an alternative for advanced coders, making it suitable for everyone, not just kids! (I mean yes, you can code as an advanced coder in Scratch with blocks but it can really get annoying, sometimes you just need regular text code.)
Idk I just don’t like scratch, mkcd is much better
MakeCode FTW
