Just due to Browser events and other ideas its been taking a while and I’ve also played even more bullet hells other then enter the gungeon.
Voidigo,Risk of rain 2, helldivers 2,Hades,Tboi,
and I don’t have a sneak peak image like I normally do, sorry.
And while I’m reworking everything. . .
Gameplay Loop
- Rouge like! Random Everything!! Most fun Most painful coding
- Campaign based (set levels) Least Fun Easiest coding
- Rouge lite? Mostly Random Choosing starting gear and upgrades Random Areas

I think it’s vital not to prioritize the consumer! Don’t get me wrong, it’s valuable to learn from your viewers and to make the game as best as possible, but you aren’t required to do the hardest of the hardest; Doing a simple campaign based game with rouge-like elements would still be an amazing game, because of what you already have, but it’s only worth it if you end up with something you like! I can’t wait for the game! (The music is coming soon, I promise…)

and i’m not prioritizing consumers at any step of this game thankfully
whenever i make a poll i mostly want to just find out what people are looking forward too or if they have any ideas/concepts they want in my game
however none of that changes the fact that this is my game and my dream to make and execute how i see fit
i did plan on making multiple areas such as a Snow area due to the autotiler i made streamlining level creation
and because i’ve already made 2 linear games i do think ill make this one a rougelite like Voidigo and Slay the Spire
