Adding in a few clarifications to the rules; none of these are new per se, just writing down explicitly for some ‘edge case’ sort of situations.
- The “No alt accounts” rule does mean no alt accounts, including “news” accounts, game studio accounts, etc. If you would like to indicate that you’re posting as part of a group, the best way to do that is to write it into your account bio and post as yourself.
- This is not an appropriate place to facilitate private discussion. We will never pass along your email to another user at your request, or anything of the sort. Please note that this does include ‘sharing’ accounts (with the only real exception being parents looking after their child’s account), as that provides ways to directly communicate.
- Please be careful about the links you post. Beyond just the things covered in rule 1, please be careful about what you post / who owns it. Even if your friend told you to post a link, you’re still responsible for it at the end of the day; if they change the contents to something inappropriate or rule breaking later on, it’ll still be linked to your account.
