Name: Darmogon
Role: Final Boss

Lore: born to be a demonic dragon but chose kindness. His parents abused his kindness but soon found out he was unwanted by his parents. He decided to be his true self as a black hearted and
vengeful dragon. Showing the world that he is unstoppable (but he isn’t).
- Health: 300
- Attacks (if any): Tail Slam, Earthquake, Dash(dashes left and right non stop for few seconds), Plasma Breath , Lava spit , Mini Reinforcements.
- Ability : regenerate when health is 25%

Lore: Shifter used to be a knight who’s name was Sir. Cole until the day he went to a spire and confronted a dragon of massive proportions, this dragon just so happened to be the Dark one, a mysterious force that changed into whatever form it wanted to torment mortals and Immortals alike! The Dark one Cursed Cole to gaurd His domain and transformed him into Shifter…who then built a tower around this gateway to seal it from the rest of the world…and there he lay…until (hero) came along.
Moveset and in game stats
Health: 10000 or as high as it can go
Strength attack 1 takes 10 health, attack 2 takes 5, attack 3 takes all your health attack 4 spawns enemies, attack 5 will just knock you back

Throws his blade and makes duplicates of it that circle him then after 1000 ms he throws them in seprate directions

He creates 1 Ball of dark matter that bounces along the screen (stuns you if you get hit) and 1 ball of poison that follows you (dissapears after 999 ms but if it touches you it poisons you and takes 1 health for 300 ms or less)

CHARGES UP A HUMONGUS RAY OF ENERGY (black red and purple) THAT BLASTS THROUGH ALL PARTS OF THE SCREEN EXEPT ONE! (gives you 3 sec. or more to get to that spot)

Also, i close polls whenever I see there are more than half of the people (who joined, so 15) answered unless the poll is very close (like its 50-50 for example. If its like 70-30 or 100-0 I’ll close it).

My character!
Name: Horvath
Role: Miniboss 4

Lore (Background Information):
Horvath was a former successful mercenary who worked often with the King of [insert random kingdom]. But on one of his missions, he faced [the boss] and lost against him/her in a duel. He was captured by [the boss] and was tortured severely, mutilating his body and nearly killing him.
However, [the boss] used a spell that could “revive” Horvath’s broken body. The spell basically binds all of his broken body parts together into a “body”, hence his “broken” appearance. Not wanting to die then, Horvath complied with all of [the boss’s] orders, unable to escape. When Horvath realised that it was better to die, [the boss] never gave him the chance and made him suffer more.
During the battle against [the protagonist], Horvath would beg [the protagonist] to give him a warrior’s death and end his suffering. After the battle, Horvath’s soul finally rests in peace.
(Definitely went overboard with the lore lol)
In-game Statistics (below are placeholders):
- Health: 200
- Attacks (if any): Dash attack (4 hearts), Slam attack (6 hearts), Knife Throw (2 hearts), Ancient’s Sorrow (1 heart per projectile)
- Dash Attack: Rushes forward and performs an X-slash with his dual daggers.
- Slam attack: Jumps into the air and performs a slam attack on the ground that has an AOE damage radius.
- Knife Throw: Throws a knife at the player.
- Ancient’s Sorrow: Fires a flurry of projectiles (Similar to the first boss from Boss Rush) in a spray fashion for roughly 3 seconds. Only used after reaching 50% health.
- Abilities: After reaching 50% health, he will create a shield around him that will need to be destroyed before inflicting more damage onto Horvath. The shield, after destruction, will regenerate again at 25% health.
By the way, the final boss has 300 health, so keep that in mind!
Regarding player health, the Player starts with 3 and can gain up to 10 hearts throughout his journey! I’ll make some gameplayer tweaks here and there as we get closer to actual development!

Once everyone’s lore and characters are finished, I want to compile them all into one post that is available to everyone so no one needs to scroll countless posts just to find one character’s backstory.

I am aware some are not as active as others and some may have stuff going on in their lives. However, if less than 7 people answer the poll saying they’ll join the roster I will abandon this project due to the lack of participation. Sorry, but if progress won’t be made on it, it’s not really worth working on in my opinion. I’m busy with a lot of stuff and having to keep asking people to answer stuff and submit stuff is really not worth it for me.
Couldn’t ping the rest because there can only be a maximum of 10 pings per post.

Hey, I mean if you want to go for those roles, submit your ideas for a neutral character and a miniboss! You can submit a character for each role!
I changed the amount of submissions one can make: 3 for each category. Allowing someone to make 14 submissions might be too much.

I meant that you’d use the same one I submited but Instead have it be a mini boss (cause the dragon seems like a better fit for what your going for)
