see how many non-sprites your pc/hardware can handle!

Bruuuuhhh I got 30,000 and stopped because of boredom. I was using an iPad and I STILL had a giant 30fps. They don’t use up space at all… but this makes it hard to tell how many your device can handle because it takes FOREVER. I was literally just pressing A for exactly 16 minutes and 36 seconds exactly (because I was listening to Night Walk by Cursedsnake at the same time)

the reason why it says 10 is because i included the scrolling bg, the player, and the 4 text images that make the outline on the text

so the thing is is that when using the sprite utils extension, there will always be one sprite.

i made a simple game without using sprites!
it was hard though trying to figure out the collisions.

thanks to @richard helping me on the stream, there is now a way to make tilemaps without using sprites!

(notice how the camera is able to go OUTSIDE the tilemap)
the only problem is, your limited to only 16 tiles due to the “tilemap editor” is actually the image editor, so if anyone has a better idea on how to make tilemaps, please let me know!

also that one sprite is just the sprite util rendering everything

@Jedi you so smart

Congrats!
You recreated the pen extension from Scratc into makecode!
