Making a extension

I want to make a extension but no idea how to.
Here’s the Blocks. (I know It’s a single block right now.)
And here’s what I want it to look like and where it should be.

It should be in sprites.

Thanks! :+1:

This might be what you’re looking for

In sprite Utils extension: https://github.com/jwunderl/arcade-sprite-util
Also a pixel art version of the makecode editor would be soo cool

That’s not drawing a sprite to a image thats drawing a image to a image. Thanks for trying to help!

Well if you want to get a sprite’s image just use this:

Also what exactly do you mean by “stamping”?

What i mean by stamping is the sprite pos is the pos on the image is where sprite image will go. in scratch there’s a stamp block which stamps the current sprite image on to the background at the pos of the sprite

Oh yes we do. Makecode and scratch both use the same engine and that is blockly. They are both javascript base they both have sprites they both have backgrounds. You see where I’m going? hehe and guess what I first made

in scratch.

WOW! :exploding_head:

I had absolutely no idea, that’s extremely cool! You actually raised my standards of Scratch by… a little bit, but I’m still extremely unimpressed by it. Yes, it does have all the similarities to MakeCode, but, it nearly put me off coding. No offense, right, but, personally, in my current opinion, it’s genuinely so bad. It’s just way overrated.

So, yeah! But that blockly thing is cool though! Never heard of it before… :slightly_smiling_face:

Makecode runs on PXT, and PXT runs on blockly, so sure, you could say they’re like “cousins”. Still, PXT is such a big leap from blockly. MakeCode supermacy baby :sunglasses:

Blockly isn’t an engine, its an editor.
Pretty much everything has sprites and backgrounds.
Also makecode technically uses static typescript i think
