Yes! I might also set it from B to Menu button! (B might be for secondary attack)
I atleast want to save coins!
Also a starting screen and a menu to look at stats, change characters, and look at the tutorial! (Like it will say go to menu to see tutorial because it is annoying to have so much text at the beginning!)
Here is the code for the Joey that I would like you to put into the expanded code at the bottom of the workspace inside the link above the Joey link to the Open World RPG. Here are some intrsuctions to guide you:
Firstly, put the âon Startâ code for Joey under the âChoseJoeyâ function block. Then, using this function add Joey and Dungeoneer to the Character selection part of the Stat Menu if the player is Level 6 or more. Then, donât forget to change the arrow kind from Projectile to AttackA. Finally( If you want), you can add your COIN save feature and a tutorial area in the Stat Menu, but please put it under Characters or Stats, as the âshow player Choicesâ block can only hold up to four choices. You can also organise the code more so it lags less.
Thanks a lot!
Is there a way for you to save you progress since I was high level when I play then I leave and get back in and now I have to restart also I love your game
Well, if the game saved, youâd have no reason to come back an play it again. Itâs not that long after all. Really glad to know that someone is still enjoying it after all this time though!
I get the incentive of âwhen you die you start againâ but monsters usually spawn on top of me as I reach a new level or I kill a monster, for example I got to a certain level and a giant bokoblin spawned and instantly killed me, in my opinion saves would make the game easier. I do enjoy the game though. (Is it possible to add a special ability?)
but any ways my honest review is as follows:
Good world design
good Unique monstersâ
nice interface and shop
now for negatives:
The boss doesnât have any unique attacks
the monsters donât progress with your level or increase in difficulty when you level up
no story/worldbuilding
And the player can only use a sword(selecting another character bugged for me)
how to improve the negatives(optional):
add special attacks for the boss(blocky boss battle has some good ones)
add/increase amount of enemies or their stats as you level up
add lore books or special dialog to npcâs (or an over arching story told through acts)
add a special shop that can sell abilities(or some other way to get special attacks)
and finally please please please! add saving.
other wise my final score on this game is a good 7.5/10 would love to see updates on this game : )
lol i forget about this game all the time, but the fact that people keep coming to it, enjoying it and leaving their thoughts always reminds me about it. I really appreciate your review. I donât know about the possibility of adding all of these features in, but if I can find the time, Iâd love to try and update to keep it up with my more advanced programming capabilities now. Optimise it, fix up some bugs, and definitely add in some extra abilities and a bigger map with more enemies. The game felt complete when I first made it. Now I see a lot of room for improvement, and I figure I might as well try to find the time to make it even better if people are still enjoying it to this day.
