I gave up
XD well gg anyway, it was a close one!
Cool! Congratulations!
Everybody just got this badge all at once! It’s been 2 years since someone got! (me)
Real.
heh? Yours was granted like two months ago XD
? what ?
I meant it was about Two years since someone got the badge, Then after I got it like 5 more people did!
OHH yeah!! must be a recent resurgence of the forums (Starting at coder king maybe?)
Idk, but real.
The forum did slow down around three brave cats 2 and ended coder king and a bunch of new users joining
This is probably the speed I remember 2019 forum was. Some people left and became inactive after the approval system was introduced. I think just having users like @PixelDoodle and @Blobbey who constantly make good games helps make the forum active along with the tournaments. lol need a crown for being the only person to win a round of coding tourney.
Also another part in makecode history has been the game jams. Last one with winners was the time jam (play flying through time it tied for third place).
That was the last jam that gave out the winner badge. That jam was was 2 years ago and only the top three got the game jam winner badge so what I’m saying is that the game jam winner badge is the hardest to get with game jams having years between them.
whaat there was a pre-coder king unofficial comp???
yeah. I forgot how it went tho
I won the first round but everyone one else quit so we couldn’t do another round.
I’m gonna be honest, I would have probably joined during the new user wave if the makecode forums weren’t blocked from my school chromebook. (I usually use my school chromebook for coding and other stuff).
Lucas mentioned ‘Coding Tourney’
(Lol as I was TYPING I watched that get deleted XD Poof!)
Oh, nvm -_- I thought you meant something else. Yes, the coding tourney by @E-EnerG-Gamecentral was a “predecessor” of sorts to the Coder King. Perhaps it was even the inspiration for the competition. @Taser?
