Sorry about my comment I thought I added but if you want to yes we do.
And the sprite is a boss by @Luke and kinda looks like a bunch of my sprite stuck together so it could fit as a boss. Right?

I know it’s a bit late to comment on the music comment but you didn’t say what kind of music you wanted when I was making it. Also I didn’t feel the need to make more music until boss one. And for the kart level my idea (I am not on that team) I think it would be like something is chasing you and the only way to outrun it is a kart (a mariokart).

SPRITES TEAM:

i got the reference sheet (finally)! everyone make TWO enemies, with animations. @Brainstorm_Studios got the deep one and caster done but if you could scale them down that would be great. we also need 2 more to replace Make One and Make Two. after you finish, start making tilesets for an area. MAKE SURE TO SAY WHAT ENEMIES YOU’RE MAKING. we don’t want duplicates.

animations needed
  • spooder: move up, move down, death
  • ghostling: move left, move right, death
  • caster: shoot left, shoot right, death
  • spiky: move forward in all 4 directions (he climbs on walls), death
  • bouncer: jump, death
  • deep one is done already.

CODE TEAM

@pecan4, i have no clue how to use github, can you post an explanation?
also, we need core mechanics like weapons and various area mechanics before things like multiplayer.

IDEAS TEAM

we need 2 more enemies, see above in the sprites team section.
also, think of area mechanics (like light in the depths)

ANSWERS

@CopySprite: it’s frustrating to implement and doesn’t fit what i had in mind for the game.
@BlastBoxGames: that’s just how i draw ghosts. it’s a bit weird but we already have sprites.
@pecan4 again: don’t bother pinging me, i get notifications for every message on this thread.

Yes it was but it could work somewhere in this game or maybe it was sent to heck after defeat.

The main character isn’t a ghost but it is for me since it’s in my version and the other character has no animations.

It’s a bit outdated so if you want to use it I can touch some stuff up

Maybe think about themes for different enemy types
Like for each section of the map/game there would be different types and themes
I think the overarching theme could be like possession (like how player has a skull hat) for npcs or all living stuff

For The Depth’s of :fire: HELL :fire: we could have an enemy kind of like the Boos from Mario. When in the bark they’re only eyes so it would be hard to see them but in the light they would be visible and could have a little panic-y sprite before they run away.
