Sorry for pinging you but we need to save this collaboration.
I have been gone for the past week so I couldn’t do anything but I would love to continue this collab,
I’ve noticed we haven’t really talked about bosses except for the last level one. Will there be others? If so there could be 2-3 bosses for each level that get picked randomly or even maybe because of the players choices (i.e. maybe finding a secret item could give you a new boss to face)
OK I think there are other bosses so do you have any ideas for them?

I have three bosses in mind,
1 Cerberus - kinda basic but there isn’t really anything wrong with it
2 Charon - he could be like a cup head boss where you have to stay on moving platforms and fight him
3 The four sons of Horus - they don’t have to all be greek/roman related and a multi-boss would be really cool (if you didn’t know these are the guys whose heads are on the organ jars)
the bosses could be any and all bosses related to the underworld/death and such these are just the ones on the top of my head

@Not-a-creepy-doll, your ides are great. i was thinking of something like this for boss progression:
- slow melee boss on the ground (probably cerberus)
- more complex dashy boss in the air (or on moving platforms) (charon)
- king of hell (easy)
- very challenging second phase (four sons or my own idea, the feral amalgam)
SPRITES TEAM
we need tiles! make the terrain first, then enemies, then anything else we need.
CODE TEAM
let’s figure out the darkness effects for the bottom level first. we also need a way to make multiple cannons for every direction (like 3 down cannons)

For the Charon boss fight I think he should chase you through the river Styx on a boat and you just have to outrun him

I don’t know, I’d suppose it’d be better if @Cursedeclipse would make some actual progress on the game! The collaboration is help; but it’s important the one in charge acts as a leader! I say as of now, work needs to be made for a malleable base.
