So, codeperson told me about piskel, and finally I can actually make good art with the ability to easily change colours without about 100 clicks (like on makecode) so here are some characters I’ve made:

The dog is so cute! He reminds me of my own dog except mine is only black!

some recommendations: The frog needs scaling and depth, so if its hind legs are further back, then they are smaller. and then the shading feels kind of off.

add in a background, transparency grey is super ugly and even solid colour backgrounds go a long way to improve an artwork (just don’t use pure white either tho)

higher contrast and more hue variety in general helps a lot too
