Okay gang Im nearing the end of the source code (basically imagine Doom 1 (shareware ver.) thats what its gonna be like (kinda))
But as Im looking at it (and due to me completley overlooking @Lukes pallet changes and how that’d effect lighting Sorry bout that btw) I decided to add a few things to spice up the game, even if you want nothing to do with the development of this game, but still wanna play it once its done please consider filling out the pole so i can see what you want in the game. -Thanks in advance Nerdiest

Cheat codes might be more useful for playtesting but I would prioritise actual game mechanics
Noted, although It would be a fun little (small) addition to the game (main mechanics and art would take priority over these though)
So listen…THERES A GLITCH IN THE MATRIX!! and idk where or what it is so If someone astute in finding game breaking bugs could help out, I’d love the help.

You’re trying to change the variable “Weapon” image but you haven’t defined it yet. Also you tried to reference ammo as an array when you set it as a number

Hey there team! (is it cool if I call yall team?) anyways ive been on a bit of a haiatus due to me figuring out what exactly I wanted for point red so basically here are some things imma need help with (cause I have no clue how to do them or am not as good at them as say @Luke or @Brohann)
Lore and overall vision (for those who want to see it (ITS LONG)
The year is 2076 in a world that’s nearly identical to ours except we advanced at 4x the rate we have, so back when the 1900’s we were already commersializing space travel, and the 2000’s we were setting on colonizing and terraforming planets such as mars and venus, which brings us to the year that the game is set in, 50 years after WWIII or as some called it “Nuclear Armegeddon”. During this time two companies (which were getting big for supplyment and testing of new goverment weapons, ships, planes rockets and of course settlements.) RadTek and Point testing Co., these two companies advertised a huge colony that was supposed to be a luxourius escape from war, it didnt cost much to land yourself a spot in the colony, and many countries, states and counties paid to get as many seats for their citizens as possible. In the end the war was fought for 25 years, and after it ended earth not only had a fraction of its population still alive, but due to problems with the earlier colonies, the planets that were colonized were losing their citizens as well. flash forward to now, the main protaganist has been sent to check out one of these colonies on the Moon, finding earlier technologies, Mutated personall, security bots with faulty programming and a sinester plot that has been brewing for 25 years.
Goals:
Make a Doom or early PS1 graphically and somewhat mechanically feeling game
strafing system
3 hidden items 2 S.A.W.'s (super atomic weapon’s (Rad glove (melee weapon think emperor palpatine) and Atomscrambler (kinda like a minigun bfg) and finnaly the sonar (helps you find hidden things and no clip through walls)
6 basic enemy types
2 bosses (the Overseer and P.A.N Cpu (Point, Artificial intelligence, Network)
8 levels
4 basic weapons (saw glove, Pistol (dual weilded), Shotgun, and NML (nuclear MIssile launcher)
and finnaly if you guys want more things in the future but all this has to get done first
- so basically heres what I would very much like to be done if your up to it:
- Changing of levels and the tile art for said levels ( if you want to help with this please reply)
- Music and sound effects (brohann I have put together a playlst in midi, so ill send that to you whenever your ready)
- Enemy looks and behaivours (if you want to help with this please reply)
- Gun looks and behaviours (switching and checking of the guns to see which you have and how to change it from one to the other)
- Boss coding and the look of both the bosses ( if you want to help with this please reply)
- the opening and the menu ( if you want to help with this please reply)
- Blood and body splatter effects
I’ll be supplying the visions and helping with the level layout and Opening and menu if you want to help please comment on what you wanna do or just give me ideas of what youd want to see in a makecode FPS
