He conectado la magicianbit con alimentación de 9 v, y las conexiones i2c, están bien.
No se mandan datos a la lcd.

it says “The power input interface of this board is designed to accommodate a voltage range from 6.4 to 8.4 V”. So connecting 6 x AA (maybe > 9V) may not be advisable.
