This is super cool! I love ecosystem games like these! The art is also nice.

You should consider using an 8x8 tilemap so that the player can craft more interesting worlds. Also, organisms tend to get suck at the lowest point of the tilemap, so climbing walls would be cool.

This is a fun bullet hell type game but it feels like it needs to be accompanied by some exiting music. Also, REDSTONE MONSTROSITY!
