Python in MakeCode

I know that there’s already Python in this game engine, HOWEVER, what if we make a PROJECT with “proper python” including print(), and suchlike. Anyone wanna help?

I’m… not sure what you mean by that

It’s hard to explain, but here’s the simple version of it.
I want to make a Python Emulator in Makecode. Something that can simulate you making Python in the SIMPLEST way possible.

You mean like, programming a Python interpreter within makecode?

I guess

This is a VERY interesting idea! A bit out of my league though. Maybe @Sarge would help?

Ahhh, right… I mean, school just started and all, not to mention the things I’m working on. I might be able to assist with any issues OP runs into while making this, but don’t expect me to build this from the ground up!

Fair. I was considering making a rudimentary blocks editor for consoles, but I can’t think of a good theme/base. Maybe turtle-logo.

What? It’s a actual programming language

Coding a BF interpreter is pretty easy, the language consists of only 8 characters

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh… oh.

still is a programming language just like python

Yes, but it’s significantly easier than coding a Python interpreter for example because the grammar and syntax is much simpler

Did we all forget about this? @ChimbroDaPro @Sarge @jnegative @SoftTalker @RadVisor

What? I just made a comment, and I also think I madei it pretty clear this is a very big undertaking. Sorry, but I’m not interested
