I noticed that the curriculum provides vocab quizzes, but the pacing/planning guide don’t state when those should be given. Any recommendations? I know that major assessments would be at the end of the unit, but what about these open response and vocab quizzes?
I’m trying to find where, if any, assessments are located. I have everything from the OneDrive link you provided. I’ve been trying for a month to get educator verified.
Are there assessments in GitHub that I still don’t have access too. I really need to know if I should be creating my own formatives as I go. I need to get the integrating what they learned into their prior knowledge but I feel like I’m giving presentations and activities but nothing integrating it into their knowledge.
For unit 1 I used the objectives and AI to create something quick but I’m really hoping there’s something in Unit 2.

Hi @aspiece The assessments are located in the OneDrive behind the GitHub verification. There is a folder called Assessments and Solutions, and all the vocab and free response quizzes are in that folder.
Regarding formative assessments throughout the units, there are many throughout all the units as either reflection questions at the end of an activity that students can complete for homework (or in class if there is time) or as a review at the beginning of the next day’s lesson.
Hi @edoughe1 The vocab quiz could be given whenever you would like in the unit. The open response quizzes are better for the end of the unit because they typically cover all of the content for the unit. I give both the open response quiz and the vocab quiz at the end of the unit and treat it as one test.
