Here i will post a devlog for my upcoming platformer called Sion The Skater. A short version of the plot is:

Sion is a tenager who likes getting in trouble and does grafiti, the main reason he does it is because the evil governments took away some of his friends and other civilians and no body has the guts to fight the government other than him!

My goal is to add skateboarding abilities to make the game fun, here is the beta project:

The only thing in this beta test is platforming (Jumping, Running etc.), here is a list of everything i need done:

  • Wall Jumping
  • Ground Pound
  • Skate Boarding (With Tricks That increase your score.)
  • Story Mode With Level Select
  • Enemies
  • Weapons For Use
  • Free Skate Mode
  • Super Hard Boss Fights
  • Nice Tileset/Backgrounds
  • Great Music

In this update i have added:
Main Menu
Level Select
Wall Jump

Man with that new slope extension, this game gonna be the BEST

I got an idea when that slope extension is released use that one rotate sprite extension for the skating so it would turn with the halfpipe and stuff

not sure where it is but I’ve used it before ill try to send it to you

I found a bug where it takes you to the city world when use the spray can and touch the moon at the same time

The google champion island game had a skateboarding minigame maybe this game could have similar mechanics

Right now i plan on working on the platforming part first. plus i also wanted to make skateboarding not apart of the story mode.

Maybe since you’ve gotten the community excited about the game, you could prioritize updating it? I don’t mean to be rude, (and correct me if I’m wrong,) but you’ve never finished any of your collabs or projects (that I know of), and it would be really cool to see you create a full game! :slight_smile:
