Ok, I only jst realized that I never even talked about my favourites in this topic. So, better late than never ig. Ima just name my Top 5 and not just completely copy + paste from my profile information.
- @randomuser : I really figure that this one is obvious. We sort of go pretty far back, all the way since Coder King 1. But anyway, I immensely respect her dedication to MakeCode for over 4 years, while taking a very small number of breaks in the middle. She also remains one of the most skilled (Game Jam Honoree, UAT1 Winner, CK4 winner) and supportive on MakeCode. She definitely deserves to be the President of MakeCode for 2 terms in a row, along with being Top 1 on the All Time Leaderboard.
- @danger_kitty : This guy is an icon. This guy is probably one of the oldest veterans on these forums, having joined in 2019 and still using MakeCode Arcade today. While the pixel art he makes in his projects is incredibly simplistic, they still manage to pop off for very good reason. His work, like The Phoenix Quest and Three Brave Cats 2, has been some of the most ambitious and quality games that the forums have ever seen. He, himself, was a massive inspiration to many other members and me on the forums. While he doesn’t post often, he typically cooks well when he does. He was the first ever person to win 2 official MakeCode Game Jams, along with being a CK champion. A strong testament to his skill.
- @Luke : This guy is a broccoli artist. Must I say More…
- @PixelDoodle : Stares at Pixel Smash. Hmmmmmmmmmmm…. Automatic placement on this list.
- @Unique : Ok, ok, ok. So I know that I kind of appeared to have had “beef“ with him over his UAT (Unique-A-Thon) Series in the past. Probably due to envy, along with a lot of hubris on my end. But I think that I have fully cooled my head now. Speaking of UAT, I have deep respect for him for managing to create such a well-designed competition. It actually seemed like a more professional game jam. If CK was a mere rough draft, then UAT was the final published novel. He, himself, was also a very talented creator, very well-known for his raycasting work (e.g., Coder king 2 - #316 by Unique ).
Thanks!
Wow… Thank you so much! ![]()
I’ve really looked up to you since your jams were what got me into the forum, and especially because you inspired me to see that people could make a real impact on the community here outside of coding.
This means a lot to me, I wouldn’t be anywhere near as active here without all that you’ve done for me and the forums! ![]()
There is only one Teeny Tiny Cat. Teeny Tiny Cat 3 does not exist and cannot hurt you.
