Thanks for the info really helpful! I played on my phone and I was playing on my PC through the share link btw. Plus this has never happened while fixing it. However I do get the same issue on my phone alone (not my pc) and from what I’ve seen I’ve come to these conclusions.
-
If the control stops and the joystick aren’t moving it’s likely the website rather then the game not working, because if it were the game and there was an error, the console would look something like this
So we now know it isn’t an error -
Next I play tested this on two devices, that being my phone, my computer, and the most freezing I experienced was on my phone and my computer I experienced none. Next I had two of my friends test this out on their computers and phones as well. They had similar results. So since our PCs are I’m assuming a lot more powerful than our phones they probably run Solaris a lot smoother than our phones. In the case of my phone I’ve experienced complete freezes where it just stops working entirely and freezes where it’s only for a few seconds and then goes back to normal.
So really with this I’m concluding that the game requires a lot of resources to run or that the game is just laggy because so much is going on at once. This might be from me using a lot of game update blocks and stuff, projectiles, or the visual effects, so I can try and optimize it the best I can for now.
Plus the only real way to solve the freezing at the moment is just by reloading the page which won’t delete any progress because I use the settings extension, but still is pretty annoying nonetheless.
Your info was really valuable and I appreciate your help! I’m probably going to implement a settings tab in the menu in game to edit effects, etc, things that could make the game run slower,
and try to reduce the code too.
