Since nobody was replying to my post, I decided to make a new game :grinning:

Really loving the art and pallette! Anyways, the reason your score resets every time is because the countdown resets it’s value when it’s stopped.
I fixed it for you here by creating a countdown variable and storing the time there before you reset the countdown. Then replace the ‘countdown’ block with the variable I created.
(like this)

Here’s the fix itself, hope this helped!

@Sarge can you also help with a lantern for the “new” third level? The colors really weird :-/

That’s because the lantern extention has fixed color offsets for the glow, and you’re using a custom pallette. I’m afraid I can’t help you with this, you’ll have to figure out a different design.

This is the new 3rd level.

Can someone help making the level % save with the settings extension?

Also the third level might cause a lot of rage…

(I only beat it once)

Update:

Now your score is visible after the level’s name.
(If only that could save even after resetting the arcade…)

Sorry for the late reply, I didn’t notice your post. What you’re looking for is the settings extension! It allows you to store multiple data types as ‘settings’ in device storage (which works in the sim, or handhelds)

Here I did that for you, by first checking if the setting exists, and resetting it if not. Then you simply load it in to the variable. I won’t attach any images, but if you’re interested pay attention to the on start and on sprite of kind overlaps finish. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I hope this helps!

Wait… I was joking… there’s actually a saving extension?!
(That’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in my life)

This is the first finished SpeedDun version, I won’t be updating this this game for a long time.

Controls:
Left/Right - Move
A - Jump
Menu - Reset All Scores

Have fun!
