100 years ago, Eldoria was nearly destroyed by the dark lord, who had armies strong enough to destroy hundreds of cities. His goal was not to destroy the world. His goal was to reshape it. He thought that peace was a lie only for the weak. His goal was to turn the world into a place where the weak had no choice. And he achieved his goal. Until Samknight came along! Nobody knows where he came from, but he created a small legion that took on the dark lord. With Samknight leading the way, victory was in the foreseeable future. The battle lasted days, but Samknight won.
Age of heroes
After the battle, Samknight became a legend. Even after he left, the legion fought on. The golden age had come. Children sang songs of praise. He was everybody’s hero. After a while, he became only a legend. The truth about Samknight was gone. They forgot the truth. And they forgot about the Dark lord’s family.
An uprising
The dark lord had a son named Malice. He was a child when his father fell. He escaped the fight unscathed, but he had seen his father die. He wanted revenge. He went on a journey to find someone to aid him. In a cave, he found a being of pure energy. He was attracted to it’s energy, so he picked up the ball of energy. In his hand, it changed shape into a cloak. He put it on, and he started to hear a voice in his head. It was the cloak. It’s name was Sigurd, A being of electricity. And so he continued his father’s legacy
Hey @Vital , I know you may be tired from writing, but, for the website, can you make a little snippet of you’re lore to fit something like this:
100 years after the great hero Samknight saved the world, a new darkness has appeared. Malice has taken control of the kingdom, and Squishy, one of the kingdom’s strongest warriors, has been sent on a mission to stop him. With the help of Ockey, a mysterious companion, Squishy must explore the world and uncover the truth.
The only thing is, I scrapped the whole Samknight idea after the primary @Studio_of_Sword user split the two timelines… I’ll find a way to make it work.
GitHub is basically where we’re keeping the Squishia project and its development stuff online.
It lets us:
Store the game’s code and website
Work together with contributors
Use branches so people can work on different features without messing up the main version
Track bugs and ideas with Issues
Discuss the game with Discussions
Keep the project’s license, credits, and other files
See the history of changes and go back if something breaks
For Squishia, I’m basically using it as our online development hub. The actual game is still made in MakeCode Arcade; GitHub is where we organize and manage the project.
