Pretty weird story for my username. My mum asked me to link up all of the tech in our home, so it was easier to control. I made a new google account to control the tech. I translated full control (Cuz’ this account would have full control over the tech) into Latin via google, and I got omnis Imperium. I wanted to make games cause I’ve always wanted to play games. But my mum and dad didn’t think this was a good idea, saying it would unbalance my priorities. Game development was a good way to play games and learn something in the process. My dad always tries to make me learn python, so that was also an influence.

I was into both space and the deep sea and wanted to mix them both somehow together
and then for wanting to code, I wanted to make games and I had a couple ideas so I wanted to start learning how to code as soon as possible so I could start working on it:)

I first started with Snap Circuits, which was fun but extremely limiting. Then, while searching up one of those Snap Circuit kits on Amazon, they showed me an Arduino in an ad. Interested, I looked up was an Arduino and was hooked. For 2 years, I learned Arduino C and played around with it. Then about 3 years ago, I learned Python. I also did lots of Scratch. Then 2 years ago, I got a PyGamer and played with CircuitPython (and a little Arduino still) on it. But I was frustrated with how hard it was to create good games. Looking at language alternatives, I discovered MakeCode Arcade about 1 1/2 years ago. I was marveled with how simple it was to make games. And now I’m here!
So you can say an Amazon ad started making me want to code.

Well actually I never got to the original ideas yet because I knew I wasn’t experienced enough and I didn’t have anywhere to actually code it. But I did come up with an idea for makecode and that idea was the diver game!

But about this, again, you don’t have to use it but you can play it, you also can use it if you really want to, all it is is another area, I also had to edit the enemies spawning in the new area, not only change the tile map
