It’s basics… but better…

You know me… I’m not one of the greatest coders on the platform, but I do make some pretty solid projects. From my first project sloppy platformer game to survive mr wegawobble, I present to you…

The Highway Champion

With a high score leaderboard with arcade-game-like initial input, it’s quite advanced for this type of game. Yeah, there’s cars on the road and all but… there’s 2 new threats you need to watch out for. The police are on the run trying to catch some wanted criminals and they run over everything and everyone. There’s also pursuer cars that, well, pursue you with their goal being to stop your attempts to speed the highway. But they’re also quite careless and if they crash into a car, their car burns. (Also, don’t ask why you drive a Porsche 959 on a public highway… that’s called video game logic.)

I’m also planning to give it updates… since I’m not a professional, you can give me ideas and I’ll try and make it work out or you can share your code and I’ll copy it.

The Highway Champion has recieved the Version 1.1 update.

If you pressed Menu, you would see 2 options: “Reset game” and “Reset high scores”. However, I screwed up in the code and both buttons would reset the high score. This has been fixed.

You can now earn extra lives by passing enough cars. 1000 is the max cars you can pass to get an extra life, but you get 5 lives from it.

Also, I have plans to make an update using the A and B buttons, but I have no idea if I should. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
