Heyo! this is where the new MakeCode forums game will be. My ideas for the game is

  1. 100x better chatting
  2. unlimited story like those book that are chose how it ends
  3. art makeover
  4. maybe music?
  5. add your own person
  6. add topic
    and
  7. if ya have a Xtron Pro you could chat over home wifi

does any one want to help?

i need art(like @kirbob or other people like @Luke) and music(i am super bad at it) and if any one wants to help that good cuz my chatting system will take a while to make.

maybe we should listen to big brother Chimbro and NOT just copy his game?
like seriously. what’s the point of even coding if you’re just going to steal things???
he even asked you to not do this. if i just stole @JtSpeedRun’s sonic code to make ssa it would’ve been better but i wouldn’t learn anything. I’d just be a thief! so please, make your own game and not just steal the game.

hey man, you shouldn’t be copying other peoples games, at least try to make it unique and different. And didn’t @ChimbroDaPro already tell you to stop copying him?

@GoObErsandwichdude64 I told you to NOT do this. You are ACTIVELY IGNORING what I said on the Chatting Area!

I feel like I might make a topic about what I’m ok with with regards to what people can do with my game, but I am NOT ok with this. Again, you are blatantly copying the entire idea without any inspiration of your own. Again, again, for the trillionth time, this game can be used to take inspiration from, but not directly copied! You can take inspiration, make YOUR OWN special game with its OWN NAME, with ITS OWN ASSETS and ITS OWN CHARACTERS. The plot can be similar but it UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE can be the exact same. I am not at all happy with people using my stuff directly, like what you are actively, INTENTIONALLY DOING.

I’ll please ask the moderator approving this to delete this topic, and if it does, could this message please get moved to the Chatting Area? Thanks.

@GoObErsandwichdude64, @ChimbroDaPro has specifically requested that you don’t use their game in making your own. please respect their wishes.

if you want to make your own original game about the makecode forums, that’s totally fine. but make sure it’s using your own code/art/characters and don’t imply that it’s an official part of chimbro’s series.

@ChimbroDaPro I know you’re upset, but let’s keep things civil. a good rule of thumb is that if you’re typing multiple words in all caps, take a sec and calm down before posting.

i’m going to lock this topic because i think it’s probably just going to devolve into fighting

as a final word, i do want to mention that it pays to keep an open mind! always try to assume that people have the best intentions when posting on the internet. what one person sees as copying, another might see as making a fangame for a series they really like! and i think most people agree that fangames can be pretty cool (nintendo’s lawyers aside) as long as they give credit to the original work
