This project has to do with radios. The idea is if you had a two way radio you would want to see how far it goes. One snag is radio signals go in a straight line and you may say “well that’s fine what does that have to do with anything?” Well as you know the earth is round so it would end up hitting the sky at some point. This is a calculator that tells you how far out the radio signal can go. It does this by multiplying the number 3.569 by the square root of the antenna height in meters, and then using a formula for calculating Kilometers to Miles.
