So ties are a bit difficult to accommodate. My best solution is to give myself a tie-breaking vote based on my opinion. But I don’t want my input to determine the outcome of my own competition. It’s just not the way I want to run UAT.
So, ties are possible. But I don’t want last season’s finals situation to be repeated. Therefore, if anyone has any suggestions for measures for tie-breaking, please feel free to reply to those (it would help ALOT.)
Hey could a get a friend to help with some art and character design for my game
I’m only asking this because I have two games I’m actively working on and to add a third one in would be hard without help
My idea for a tiebreaker is to compare the date when the game was submitted (not the time because of approvals, yk). The person who submitted first should win in the tie since they made an equally good game in less time. In case that both games are submitted (or approved) on the same day, there should be some third option (hopefully it doesn’t come to that)
This is just something I came up with off the top of my head, you could implement some kind of variation of it if you’d like
@Unique A little warning, I might ask for an extension this round! I am in a summer art program at college which takes up most of my energy and time. I do have time in the evenings, so I may not need an extension, but just a heads up!
So when does the next round start
If it’s already started I’m screwed
Like really I’m doomed haven’t touched makecode in the past week or so out side of some red-line work
I don’t really got much time to do this and the game jam at the same time. It was my birthday and I barely got time to code so now i’m WAY of schedule.
I understand, I just don’t really know how to manage to avoid the main jam. Obviously that one is more important, but I’m not really sure how to accommodate for that.
