there are over a dozen pending posts in this thread, and many of them are effectively insults / dogpiling / fighting. Disagreeing with eachother is fine, but this is not the place to take snipes at other people. Iโm clearing most of these out, even the ones that were probably more on the side of โusually acceptable.โ
If conversations canโt remain civil Iโm going to lock the thread. Itโs clear people have very strong opinions on this, and will likely not be able to change eachother in full, but do not let that boil over / try and bait people into feeling upset.

generally their pretty good, from time to time i check and 90% of the time itโs pretty accurate, but shldnt be used in cases where a persons career is at risk

I would like to say that AI does hurt artistsโ careers. If youโre saying youโre too lazy to make the art or whatever, then I implore you to please at least use the money you say youโre using on AI for real artists. It really means a lot to the artists who spend their efforts making beautiful art, and AI does affect their careers and lives. :] (Mods, I am not attacking or insulting in any way. I have only recycled his words, and I do have a point to this)

Oh boy. Well this is certainly a post. Well Iโll try to keep this fairly short and reasonable.
I get where youโre going with this, but itโs really not the same thing. Taking pictures is an art itself and can be tough to perfect. For the other ones though, theyโre really off topic to the narrative to AI art. See, with AI art vs. real art, the question isnโt about "why not?"s, itโs about the fact that AI art is a detriment to creativity, jobs, and art as a whole.
The main reason remakes and demakes should be allowed is the fact that youโre almost always putting effort into it by making your own style of the game. Not to mention the code. You canโt simply copy the code and place it into your demake. And for makecode remakes, Iโve typically seen the code remade to be more optimized. But no matter what, remakes and demakes here on MakeCode are simply here to help improve on becoming a better dev. Everything I just said in this paragraph, AI cannot do. AI doesnโt help you become a better dev. It doesnโt help you make your own unique style. The only thing AI can help you with here is making sprites fast 
I agree with you here. You should have freedom to do whatever you like with your games, but MakeCode is a learning program. The goal of using MakeCode is to improve your computer science skills. If you want to make enjoyable games in the future on major engines, then you SHOULD make your own artwork and code. Though, Iโm not sure how well that will go in the future. I can already see a lot of AI messes of games being releasedโฆ
I definitely agree with trying to keep a positive mindset about anything! Though, as an artist, it hurts me personally when people use AI and take credit for it. Itโs like a slap in the face to every artist out there. Imagine you mastered cutting trees down. You get hired as a log cutter. You start cutting down a tree with your ax, and when you finally finish cutting the tree down, someone comes in with an excavator tree saw. They made your efforts seem worthless, and eventually, your skills become useless and you lose your job. Now this isnโt the best example because art is subjective. AI art is a big deal though, and it does affect us in a lot of ways. I know Iโve already said this, but it seriously does kill off creativity and perspective.
Conclusion?
AI is great for what it can do, and has some great times to use it, like perhaps generating an AI image, and then taking inspiration from it, but using AI inside of MakeCode does affect us artists. We work so hard, only to have some rando come in and talk about how great their work is when it was AI generated. Itโs a really sad and depressing fact we have to live with, but itโs happening, and thereโs not much we can do to prevent it. All we can really do is reject it when we see it, and ask that people using AI will do the same.

I also have especially noticed that the amount of ai generators being made are insane and this makes me nervous about whatโs gonna happen when they integrate to more physical stuff like a more advanced alexa

the main issue with it is the repetitive use of the rock tile - this makes the screen really noisy and also doesnโt draw your eye to elements like the player or gems and such. i reccomend only tiling areas which border the empty space
a great example is with @ADM_Fโs upcoming game Kentonia Isles!
a great thing to do is to remove orphan pixels and try to cluster them into more purposeful shading to reduce the noisiness of the tileset

Creativity is fun and fuel. Without it, we humans aren't humans. I feel (and i hope many others do) that using AI takes away for the need of your right side of your brain (the creative part) Even if you're kinda lazy, you could just try out doing it yourself because:- Itโs fun
- Itโs useful
- Itโs productive.
Point 2: Lack of personality

You can write a passionate lore on the forums like TMF3 and we love that! But if AI write's it, do you really mean it if in the game you say, "The forum is a nice place"?Another example. If *AI* wrote **THIS** post, (which it didn't), do I really mean it? This is a message from ME, not some LLM which basically squashes bits of the internet into one message.
