What is the max game size?
-Some say 1MB. Meowbit can store 2MB.
-Does the browser web version have a different size limit? Is the max size universal across devices?
I want to know the limits of what can be done within game size.
Are there tactical ways around? Like memory management? Using 1 art for multiple purposes in-game? Using colorization on grey art to save file space?

Yeah, I’m interested too.
I found out that I couldn’t download virtually any game on the forum because it was too big (even though I did download it years ago, maybe this is a new thing?)
It says program too big by 20258 bytes!
(even though that is less than a tenth of a megabyte)
I tried it on my really fast computer as well and no difference.
I tried it on Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge and it didn’t work,
While we’re on the topic, a way to (maybe decrease the game size?) but definitely decrease loading time is to remove the blocks/python component which you can do from the Explorer menu.
I’m just using Windows 11 by the way.
But my findings may be incorrect and some things might have impacted it…
I will reply when I find something significant.
