You know how scratch can allow you to record your voice and put it in your game?
I want to try to implement a little AI dude that has a voice!
It’s not finished yet though.
Stage 1: Beeps and boops to signify letters.
Stage 2: Shifting beeps and boops to change the tone.
Stage 3: Both of them combined to make a (kinda) realistic voice!
Stage 4:N̶o̸ ̵i̶d̴e̶a̴ ̵w̸h̵a̵t̶ ̷t̸o̵ ̴p̷u̵t̷ ̵h̷e̶r̵e̸ ̵b̶u̶t̸ ̸i̶t̶s̷ ̷b̵a̷s̴i̵c̸a̸l̸l̷y̷ ̵a̷ ̷r̷e̷a̸l̴l̵y̴ ̸g̸o̷o̵d̵ ̶v̴o̶i̷c̵e̶ ̴t̸h̴a̷t̸ ̶c̶a̷n̸ ̴h̶a̸v̸e̷ ̸a̵c̴c̵e̶n̷t̶s̵.̷.
Woah, pretty cool! As with most low-quality synthetic voices, you do need to see the text to understand what it’s saying, but after that it is pretty realistic!
I had an old project like this, your demo shows me it could actually work…
the ACTUAL way to make this is:
Stage 1: A text to phoneme converter.
Stage 2: Beeps and boops to signify phonemes.
Stage 3: Smooth transition from beeps to boops.
Stage 4: Smooth transition to change the tone.
Stage 5: N̶o̸ ̵i̶d̴e̶a̴ ̵w̸h̵a̵t̶ ̷t̸o̵ ̴p̷u̵t̷ ̵h̷e̶r̵e̸ ̵b̶u̶t̸ ̸i̶t̶s̷ ̷b̵a̷s̴i̵c̸a̸l̸l̷y̷ ̵a̷ ̷r̷e̷a̸l̴l̵y̴ ̸g̸o̷o̵d̵ ̶v̴o̶i̷c̵e̶ ̴t̸h̴a̷t̸ ̶c̶a̷n̸’t ̴h̶a̸v̸e̷ ̸a̵c̴c̵e̶n̷t̶s̵.̷.(unless if you manually type the phonemes.)
