YamJam's game topic

Since I got like 2 projects I’m finally gonna start working on (hopefully) and I don’t want to have to flood the forums with like 12480219 new game topics, I’m gonna put them all over here! It also makes it easier for me to find where I posted all my games.

Here’s two games I’m (trying to) working on and another I’m hoping to finish:

Okay I will pause ALL development for other games because of the bird jam. I will be working on a game called "BIRD ANNIHALOATROR " (yes I genuinely forgot how to spell literally EVERYTHING because of auto correct)

First playable version of bird annihilation! The tutorial hasn’t been started yet so here’s how to play:

THIS GAME USES SAVING AND MOUSE CONTROLS!!!
Background selection: Use your cursor to click on go to start. (Backgrounds not started yet so you won’t ever see anything else in this version)
Main gameplay: Press on “put seeds” (wasn’t enough room for “place seeds” to make it sound cooler) to attract birds. Once you see the abomination of pixels I made as a bird, use your mouse to click on them to shoot. Your cursor has to be on it, not past it because I don’t know how to detect overlaps with a line I drew on the screen. You can press menu to return.
Shop: Should be self-explanatory, it’s just a mini menu. Click on any suit you have to equip it. Backgrounds and the “George” suit haven’t been done yet.

To whoever is lucky enough to be blessed upon by the gods to find this game, please give feedback too!

GUYS I’M HOSTING ANOTHER BIRD ANNIHILATION CUSTOM MADE ART THING BLAH BLAH BLAH

This time, it’s for CROSSHAIRS!
Uhh, you should know what a crosshair is, right? You know, the cross… with hair…? heheh… Uhm anyways, it’s just your cursor that you use to aim, so today, you’ll get to make one!

Rules:

  1. Dimensions of your crosshair must be around 9x9 (doesn’t have to be exactly 9x9 though)
  2. The crosshair must be able to have an animation that transforms from a singular dot to your crosshair, like this:
    20260812-1616-48.6421079
(every crosshair will always have the singular dot, you’re making a crosshair for the bigger one to animate into when you “aim”!)
  3. You have to name it, if you would like to give it price, be free to do so. If not, I will price it at $500. (common crosshairs cost 100, while rare crosshairs cost 250, legendary crosshairs (the crosshairs you guys are making) cost 500.) If you would like to make your crosshair a lower rarity, nobody’s stopping you. The only downside is that they will have to be $100 or $250 depending on the rarity

And lastly, be creative! The crosshair doesn’t have to be white, it can be any color! And if you’d like, you can turn the bullet trail that you shoot into the crosshairs color as well! Just make sure to make the animation from white to your color look nice.

The best 3 crosshairs I find will be entered into the game, with your name in the credits!

Thanks, though I might not finish it.

Hello! I’m starting a new arc of games in development, and right now I have one that is supposed to be my biggest and best game yet (basically what I say for most of my non-minigame games), or it could be a total failure and be forgotten after a day

My few hints about it are:

  1. The roblox game “Rivals”
  2. Any amount of people’s data in one game
  3. Multiple links

Le juice

This was originally supposed to be my horrible attempt at creating some kind of raycasting system but… yeah…

Update:
I gave up on the first day

Play testing thing I forgot to fix

Well, either it’s because makecode arcade isn’t being a reasonable game engine or I’m just a straight up idiot because I can’t get the accounts to save.

(it’s probably the second option)
