Hey folks!
It’s the first monday of the month and that can mean only one thing! That’s right! It’s time for another mini game jam!
This time the theme is Birds! Y’know, those flying things! Well most of them fly? Uh… I think they all have… uh… beaks? Have you really not heard of birds? They’re like all over the place! Look it up!
Some examples of games that fit this theme well:
- A game where birds are out doing normal bird things like hiking or flying space ships or… uh… going on dates
- A birding game where you need to find different species of birds like in Casual Birder or @Blobbey’s Bird Watching Simulator
- A game about dinosaurs! They’re basically birds!
All jokes aside, I think you get the point. The game has to have birds in it.
Rules
- Games should be built in MakeCode Arcade
- Games should clearly adhere to the theme without the need for any extra explanation
- Keep the games PG: no NSFW, offensive, or excessively violent content.
- You must be at least 9 years old to participate.
- All games must be submitted by someone who is at least 13 years old. Younger students are welcome to participate, but it must be in partnership with an adult and with parent permission.
You have until the last Friday of the month to enter! The jam will close at 11:59 PM PDT on Thursday, July 30th 2026. As always, we will be playing all of the submitted games on our livestream on the last Friday of the month.
