I deleted my game by accident: can you help me I spent 5 hours on it :(:sob:

unfortunately I don’t think there are any ways to get it back the only 2 options to get it back are

1.load a PNG save if you have one

2.if you have a link for the project copy the code and load it in to get it abck

(I’m not a mod but still)

  1. Were you signed in
  2. Did you use github
  3. did you make a png/uf2 version of the game
  4. Did you delete the entire project or just the code

Do you have any screenshots saved? If so, you can use the import button in the main menu to at least regain a small part of it back. If you don’t, there’s nothing wrong with starting over anew!

Did you press delete project then when it asked you if you REALLY wanted to delete your project and you clicked yes? Because I’m not sure how you accidently do that… however if you did somehow, sorry to say you won’t get it back. Also which game is it? (I’m asking because if its the backrooms co-op game then you could just click the link then click edit)

Okay So I was deleted very old projects and What I didn’t know it that I had selected GatorCraft too… also the Minecraft post has the wrong link somehow?

ummm…

check if you still have ethe URL, or at least downloaded it. And did you actually manually deleted it? Or was it deleted by itself? Or did you accidently click delete and it immediately deleted the game? Because it has to give you a warning before you actually delete it.

Its fine I recoded it…but now I have another problem, My project would load, it says sorry We can’t load this project for no reason I tried everything I could think of.

one time i actually thought i would have to recode my own game ever since that stupid AI chatbot update deleted all of my code, I managed to get my game back, but the fear was real…

idk man its usually two projects open at once that gets me that error
