The camera centers on a beautiful flowing fountain. Various employees are
walking around in the background carrying papers, having conversations,
laughing. Two people in hazmat suits are giving each other high fives.
Uplifting string music swells in the background.
A large PIGEON in a hat and suit enters STAGE RIGHT.
PIGEON
Hello there! My name is Rick Kuh-null and I'm vice president of
Teambuilding and Dream Ideation here at MKCD Industries.
The PIGEON walks over and sits casually at the edge of the fountain. He looks
directly at the camera.
PIGEON
If you're watching this video, that means you've been selected to
become a part of the MKCD Industries team. We're happy to have you!
The PIGEON raises his wing in greeting.
PIGEON
Now, before you get started, we want to make sure you understand
our company culture and what it means to be a part of the MKCD
family.
The PIGEON stands up and beckons the camera to follow him.
PIGEON
Come with me, won't you?
The music swells as the PIGEON walks off screen. The camera pans up towards the
blue sky. As it does, we see the gigantic nuclear cooling towers that loom above
the MKCD Industries headquarters.
The MKCD Industries logo animates onto the screen. Music fades out.

EXT. A STATIC IMAGE OF A BEAUTIFUL SUNSET OVER A TROPICAL OCEAN
Exciting music swells in the background.
PIGEON (V.O.)
Here at MKCD Industries, we have four main principles that guide our
company culture. In fact, they're so important to us that they're in
our company name! Let's take a look!
An animated M pixellates onto the screen, followed by a K, C, and D arranged
vertically.
PIGEON (V.O.)
The first letter, M, stands for "Make." We make things here at MKCD
Industries. We make technology, we make products, and most of all we
make dreams come true!
The rest of the word "Make" animates onto the screen in a fun, playful font.
PIGEON (V.O.)
The second letter, K, stands for "Kinetic." The working world is
fast-paced and ever-changing, and here at MKCD Industries, we embrace
that. We are always moving forward and meeting challenges head-on.
The rest of the word "Kinetic" animates onto the screen. It leans to the right
with a dust cloud forming behind it, as if moving quickly.
PIGEON (V.O.)
The third letter, C, stands for "Cloning". We believe that cloning
tech is the future. Imagine a world where you could be at two, three,
or even four places all at once! The very concept of death will no
longer hold any sway over us as eternal life is simply a cloning pod
away! Here at MKCD Industries, we are working hard to make that
vision a reality.
The rest of the word "Cloning" animates onto the screen. The letters are
playfully made up of various pieces of lab equipment, like wires, circuit
boards, and vats of various chemicals.
PIGEON (V.O.)
The fourth and final letter, D, stands for "Dream". If you can dream it,
we can make it! Here at MKCD Industries, we believe that the only limits
to what we can achieve are the limits of our imagination.
The rest of the word "Dream" animates onto the screen. The letters are made up of
various clouds and stars.
PIGEON (V.O.)
These four principles form the foundation of our company and guide us
in everything we do. We hope that you will embrace them as well and
help us continue to make MKCD Industries a place where dreams come true!

FADE IN:
INT. MKCD INDUSTRIES OFFICE, DAY
Energetic music plays slowly fades in from the background.
The camera slowly pans across a busy office. Employees are working at their
desks, behind them we see a conference room where an animated meeting is
taking place. A whiteboard is filled with a chart showing growth and success.
We continue to pan across the office, passing by a window to a science lab
covered in glass that is marked with radiation warning signs. Inside, we see
occasional flashes of light and sparks as scientists work on various
experiments.
The camera continues until it settles on the PIGEON who is standing in front
of a large window overlooking the city in his office. The PIGEON turns to face
the camera.
PIGEON
Here at MKCD Industries, we aren't just a company, we're a family.
A knock is heard at the door to the office. The camera pans over to an opening
door where a CORGI in a suit and hat is leaning into the room. He shoots a
casual finger gun at the pigeon.
CORGI
Hey Rick, we're still on for squash tomorrow, right?
The PIGEON laughs.
PIGEON
You bet! But don't think you're going to beat me this time. I've been
practicing my backhand!
The CORGI joins the laugh and closes the door. He calls out after the pigeon.
CORGI
We'll see about that!
The PIGEON turns back to the camera.
PIGEON
We only choose the best and brightest to join our team, if you're here, it's
because we expect great things from you. I can't wait to see what you can
accomplish!
In the corner of the screen outside the PIGEON's office, we see a bright red
warning light begin to flash and a klaxon blares to life. The windows shake
violently as a dull pink gas begins to fill the hallway.
PIGEON
Remember, you can't spell magic without MKCD! Welcome aboard!
The PIGEON waves at the camera and fades away as if by magic. The camera tracks
forward through the outside window towards the city skyline.
Once again we pan upwards towards a blue cloudless sky. The MKCD Industries logo
animates onto the screen. Music swells.
FADE OUT.
Rules
- Games should be built in MakeCode Arcade
- Games should clearly adhere to the theme without the need for any extra explanation
- Keep the games PG: no NSFW, offensive, or excessively violent content.
- You must be at least 9 years old to participate.
- All games must be submitted by someone who is at least 13 years old. Younger students are welcome to participate, but it must be in partnership with an adult and with parent permission.
You have until the last Friday of the month to enter! The jam will close at 11:59 PM PDT on Thursday, August 27th 2026. As always, we will be playing all of the submitted games on our livestream on the last Friday of the month.
