I made a MULTIPLAYER game! After seeing Pixildoodle’s Pixel Smash I was inspired to make something similar. Introducing…

Arena Of Prometheus
Originally a Greek Myth themed PvP game. You can play as 8 different characters with unique move sets and up to 4 players. (its no longer Greek themed)

Each character has a basic attack that is charged by their yellow ammo bar.


The bar will turn white if you have no ammo (it passively recharges)
You can aim your attack by facing that direction and pressing A, you can shoot diagonally by pressing two adjacent directions.

Your character also has a super ability which is charged by taking or dealing damage. The black bar above your character fills with purple until its fully charge, press b to activate your special ability. (Each character’s ability is different)

In duel and battle mode you must eliminate all other players to win (duel is a 1v1 and has a smaller map.)
Extinguisher prompts you to destroy the other team’s anchor object to win. (Golden Apple or Stolen Fire)

Note:The screen resolution is modified so online multiplayer will not display the screen but inputs will still be registered ):

I LOVE IT HOW DO YOU MAKE GAMES SO GOOD! The only not-so-great part about the game is you HAVE to play with 2 or 4 people. Could you add AI to the game so if you are the only person playing you could play against and AI bot just like in Pixel Smash (All credit to @PixelDoodle ). Other than that I LOVE IT!

hey this is really interesting. I like the art style that you chose. I also noticed that you used an exstention to change the screen size could you give that to me?

Its actually not an extension, you can do this in the base editor. Go into javascript and paste this in:

export const ARCADE_SCREEN_WIDTH = 160
export const ARCADE_SCREEN_HEIGHT = 120
}

Just change the numbers to your liking but remember that it should stay a 3:2 ratio or else it may look weird.

I would love to add an AI opponents! But for a game as complex as this where all 16 moves do something unique. (In pixel smash most attacks do the same sort of thing) Because of this I think it would be very difficult to do well. Especially in make code. I tested out a bot design in beta but I could never figure just how to tell it to dodge attacks right.

However, if this game gets to 85 clicks I’ll add a singleplayer boss mode.

I don’t think so no for a while and that’s if he doesnt discountinue it because pixel smash was made by @PixelDoodle who is easily one of the best makecoders of all time @Bifrosty is good but not @PixelDoodle and also it took months to create the finished product

Hi yall! I still have two slots in the roster and was wondering if anybody wanted to design a character. Please use this format to make a character:

Image of character if you want to make coding it easier

Speed: (Fast, Slow, Med)

Health Amount: (super high, high, med, low, super low.)

Basic Attack: Have a detailed description of the attack and what it does.

Special Ability: Have a detailed description of the ability and what it does. This can be an attack, a healing power or some kind of utility.

Special Charge speed:

Passive Ability (optional): Eg. lifesteal, passive special charge

Strategy(optional): how your character should be played. (helps me weight certain attributes)

Character name: ShaneyBoi

Speed: Fast
Health Amount: low (that’s why he needs to camp at the corners of the map while everyone else is fighting.)
Basic Attack: Laser Eyes, like Kazuya in SSBU
Special Ability: Idk, something evil, darkness, something like that.
Special Charge speed: slow
Passive Ability Teleport three or four blocks to get away when low on health.
Strategy: Camp at the corners of the map while the other players kill each other. :smiling_face_with_horns:

(Yes, this is @CrunchyToast’s sprite from one of his games that i remodeled but i did create a new side and back view. i’m sorry… i had no other idea hopefully you will allow me to do this.)

Speed: Fast

Health Amount: Med or High

Basic attack: Have a Small animation of a dash with him slashing in the dash animation. With was you can pick the direction of the dash (optionally having him diagonally dash, and Knockback effect)

Special ability: Sends a Razor blade (hopefully homing if possible) that lasts 5 secs which moves at a relatively slow place but if you get hit by it does huge damage.

Special Charge speed: Med to Low

Passive Ability: When he gets low on health/Red zone his damage goes up

Strategy: if you don’t hit accurate dashes, you won’t do well but if you have good dexterity and you can time your dashes it will do well it will be a great character (If you want to change this go ahead as their will be plenty of people that won’t have good dexterity making this character unused so you could change something to make this character better)
