Here’s a funny thing I found; not sure if this is intentional, but you can freak out a rendered object with the Z-axis.
This might be useful if you wanted to make a shape morph into another one? I have no idea.

yeah sorry right now this extension is not really stable as I am constantly adding new things and also breaking things in the process
HUGE BREAKTHROUGH TODAY
TEXTURED POLYGONS!!!
its actually very simple and uses @Nome_muito_criativo’s Sega Saturn “3D” sprite distorsion
There’s still tons of optimizations to be made, so keep your eyes peeled for more updates
Man this is so cool!
i saw that there were nodes on the corners, good thinking
Wow! Amazing!
Wow!
Great work and thanks for sharing, @Brohann!
Can’t wait to see your cube spinning and bouncing around on the screen, maybe zooming in and out, and changing form, with different textures and colors, or maybe letters that spell a message to the sound of the new wavetables music and some voice synthesizing now and then! Or something…
What a week with amazing achievements!!! This is a new high for the forum!
wow THIS IS AMAZING!
but is there any way you can make it faster?
Supercool, I thought we were going to have to define each pixel as a square to get that XD
“It was actually very simple”
Oh well then I’ll just take a jaunt through the code and- W H A T /j
thats probably just your bad computer, it runs at 80 fps for me, and yea, there is still many optimizations i have to make
true.
How have I not seen this? This is amazing!!!
Maybe i’m going to go from making a super mario bros remake to making a super mario 64 remake!
this alone opens up so many possibility’s I could remake mario 64 on this except it would probably not have as many pixels because of the 16 colors limit.
reminds me of the TERRIBLE apparatus shrines in LoZ BotW
some small improvements, now runs faster but at the cost of a few graphical glitches and imperfections
I got to work this weekend trying to make a low-poly, textured 3d model. I immediately remembered this Arduboy demo, and thought it was a neat idea.
perf is pretty good, about 100fps for me.
I’m really thinking about making my own StarFox clone, so make sure that you are watching this topic to get a notification every time there is a new post.
HELPP I love that this is how you innovate
its horizontally spinning rat with music time
